Talascend is currently seeking a Lead Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity located in Charlotte, NC.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our team. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities, lead administrative initiatives, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
• Provide information to callers and handle correspondence.
• Compose memos, transcribe meeting notes, and prepare presentations.
• Generate reports and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prepare, process, and monitor invoices and expense reports.
• Assist in compiling and developing the annual budget.
• May supervise or provide guidance to junior administrative staff.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6-8 years of administrative experience, preferably in a lead or senior role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Kronos timekeeping.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a high degree of initiative.
Additional Information:
• This position reports directly to a department manager or unit head.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
