Global Treasury Operations Analyst
Talascend is currently seeking a Global Treasury Operations Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Newark, California.
Overview
The Global Treasury Operations Analyst will assist the Treasury Operations team in helping build world class treasury infrastructure to enable global expansion. You will bring a growth mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Support ongoing treasury operations, including bank account administration, KYC updates, and bank documentation.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and treasury system enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and SOX compliance requirements.
- Understand, review all treasury processes and help draft SOPs.
- Administer bank accounts, portal users and ensure proper authorizations and controls.
- Work closely with accounting to assist with payments and account reconciliations.
- Facilitate issuance of Letter of Credits / Letter of Guarantees for global treasury operations.
- Monitor daily cash position across multiple bank accounts.
- Support liquidity management across entities.
- Support execution of timely fund movements, wires, and FX transactions as required.
- Help manage treasury SOX controls and support any audit requests.
- Initiate and maintain comprehensive documentation of existing processes across the Treasury function to support standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Provide support for treasury technology initiatives by defining and communicating treasury requirements to internal IT teams and external consultants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a technical field
- 5+ years in treasury / finance with a global company
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of banking portal, Bloomberg, Clearwater, SAP, and treasury management systems ideal.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage projects and different deadlines relatively independently.
Shift
Onsite – L1 CA, 40 hours with potential for overtime.
