Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
Talascend is currently seeking a Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.
Overview
You will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes and driving operational excellence. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency, quality, and productivity of advanced manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage advanced manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Provide direct program support to ensure ability to manufacture development program products within quality, cost, and schedule measures.
- Implement advanced manufacturing technologies and processes to optimize production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to drive innovation and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and implement cutting edge technologies to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiencies.
- Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 5+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing and lean manufacturing principles.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
