Equipment Delivery Coordinator
Talascend is currently seeking an Equipment Delivery Coordinator for a contract opportunity with our client in Bellevue, Washington (State).
Overview
The role involves supporting the Natrium project by tracking and managing information handoffs between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of equipment delivery.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and document the completion of information handoffs between technical teams and stakeholders.
- Track document distribution commitments and forecast adherence to ensure timely delivery and communication.
- Distribute vendor documentation in alignment with the planned sharing protocols.
- Compare equipment required-on-site dates with the planned delivery schedules to ensure alignment.
- Share internal design details effectively between teams to support project needs.
- Ensure alignment on scheduled commitments and deadlines for handoffs.
- Coordinate across teams to understand specific handoff requirements.
- Lead efforts to facilitate handoffs by resolving bottlenecks and addressing process gaps.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to scheduled handoffs by proposing corrective actions.
- Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure all required data and documentation for equipment delivery is accurate and complete.
- Serve as a liaison between teams to streamline communication and resolve issues.
- Support the Equipment Delivery Integration Manager in tracking progress toward equipment delivery milestones.
- Contribute to the development of workflows to enhance efficiency and quality in delivery processes.
- Provide regular status updates and reports on handoff completion and delivery progress.
- Maintain accurate records of handoff processes to inform decision-making and future planning.
- Maintain outward-facing tracking via Jira and Power BI tools.
- Drive actions to closure across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project coordination, supply chain management, or a related role.
Requirements
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile).
- Proven ability to manage complex workflows and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience working within cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of nuclear or related heavy industry equipment delivery processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with Jira, Power BI, and Confluence.
- Strong communication skills desired.
- The service provider will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect, and a desire to foster teamwork.
- Travel required: 10-20%
