Talascend is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Miami Springs, Florida.

Overview

The role involves leading end-to-end IT projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions within a complex, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end IT projects from initiation to deployment and operational handover
  • Coordinate business stakeholders, digital teams, architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and external suppliers
  • Manage project planning, milestones, budget, workload, risks, and dependencies
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and IT solutions
  • Drive governance activities such as steering committees, reporting, KPIs, action plans, and escalations
  • Ensure compliance with end client processes, quality standards, cybersecurity, and documentation requirements
  • Manage incidents, changes, releases, and service transition to operations following ITIL approach
  • Monitor delivery performance regarding quality, cost, and deadlines
  • Support Agile, SAFe, and Scrum ceremonies while maintaining end client governance constraints
  • Coordinate testing activities (UAT/BAT), deployment, and production readiness
  • Manage suppliers and Statements of Work (SoW) when external resources are involved
  • Ensure communication and synchronization between international and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

  • Strong project management background
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and/or traditional PM methodologies (PMP, Prince2)
  • Excellent understanding of IT environments: applications, infrastructure, SAP, PLM, cloud, cybersecurity, data flows, etc.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, MS Project, reporting tools
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Risk management and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work in complex and highly regulated industrial environments
