SAP Engineer-Operational Services

Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the SAP technical environment and will demonstrate the ability to configure, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot SAP systems to support the business needs of the company. This role includes administering the SAP transport system to move changes across environments while ensuring system integrity. The candidate will also manage SAP users and security, contributing to a stable, secure, and reliable SAP landscape.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science, or combination of post-secondary education and related experience required
  • 5+ years minimum hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration
  • Detailed understanding of SAP security concepts and user administration
  • Familiarity with S4/HANA architecture necessary
  • Involved with at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP
  • Project management skills needed (i.e. project plan development and tracking, issue resolution, risk mitigation, metrics development and tracking)
  • Proficiency in MS Office products

 

 

THE EXTRAS

  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP GRC, and integration technologies
  • Knowledge of Rev Trac transport management tools
  • Knowledge of Tricentis Tosca and qTest automated testing tools

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING          

  • Manage and support the SAP technical environment, including configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP systems
  • Perform SAP user and security administration, including role assignments and access controls, in alignment with security and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues and support business initiatives
