Lab Technician
Talascend is currently seeking a Lab Technician located in Hazelwood, Missouri.
Overview:
We are seeking a Lab Technician to support laboratory operations by performing equipment cleaning, handling, and general technical assistance. This onsite role is ideal for individuals with basic laboratory experience and strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform cleaning and basic decontamination of laboratory instruments and equipment following established procedures.
• Assist external personnel and visitors during onsite equipment-related activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow standard operating procedures and promptly communicate any issues to the supervisor.
• Complete simple documentation related to equipment handling and cleaning tasks.
Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic familiarity with laboratory environments or equipment handling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device environments preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant laboratory or technical experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic familiarity with laboratory environments or equipment handling.
- Shift: Onsite
