Regulatory Compliance Coordinator
Talascend is currently seeking a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator for a contract opportunity with our client in Pine Brook, New Jersey.
Overview
The role involves supporting regulatory compliance activities, including environmental certification and compliance reporting, as well as assisting in product registration and internal audits.
Responsibilities
- Assists federal/state agency environmental certification, registration and compliance reporting activity
- Assists in the facilitation of product registration or reporting activities, including Packaging EPR, Chemicals, e-waste, and energy related subjects
- Assist to conduct internal audit, benchmarking and data requests
- Process vendor invoices related to environmental compliance (e-waste, product certification, etc.)
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience supporting regulatory, finance, marketing, sales, or other operational departments
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred (Regulatory, Environmental, Chemistry, Engineering)
Requirements
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to summarize new content concisely
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements
- Must have strong computer skills with the ability to work within internal and external IT systems; must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite (strong Excel skills is a must)
- Experience with MS SharePoint is a plus
- Ability to conduct online research on new topics
- The ability to meet deadlines and organize multiple competing tasks
- Strong desire to learn and develop
Shift
Fully onsite (9am - 6pm work schedule in the NJ Pinebrook office - local candidates only)
