Software Developer
Talascend is currently seeking a Software Developer for a contract opportunity with our client in Arlington, Virginia.
Overview
This role involves writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications, and applying frameworks involved in a software release life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain source code.
- Create and maintain software applications.
- Apply frameworks involved in a software release.
- Perform computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing.
- Develop technical solutions requiring collaboration and deep analysis.
- Communicate with internal and client project team members.
- Coach and review the work of lower level technical staff.
Qualifications
- Typically requires BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Typically requires Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Requirements
- Expertise in one or more programming languages.
- Ability to develop solutions to technical problems that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
- Ability to influence team members regarding solution design, process, and approaches.
- Requires deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas.
