Software Developer
Talascend is currently seeking a Software Developer for a contract opportunity with our client in Arlington, Virginia.
Overview
This role involves writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications, and applying frameworks involved in a software release. The duties include programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing both applications and frameworks within the software release cycle to produce a reliable software product.
Responsibilities
- Write, maintain, and update source code for software applications
- Develop and apply frameworks involved in software releases
- Document code and processes clearly
- Manage configuration and testing activities
- Identify and fix bugs in software applications and frameworks
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues
- Contribute to the software release life cycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in one or more programming languages
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
