Returns Coordinator
Talascend is currently seeking a Returns Coordinator for a contract opportunity with our client in Houston, Texas.
Overview
This role involves receiving and processing field returns, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with procedures. It requires strong organizational skills and experience in equipment returns and disposition, along with team leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming packages from carriers and sort for field returns, reporting any package damages
- Data entry for tracking returned devices
- Reconcile and research device, system, or return inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate with manufacturing and technical support regarding special returns
- Transfer devices from database locations within the systems (Veritracks, Great Plains, and Salesforce)
- Maintain an accurate log of daily returns, moves, and stocking locations to report daily
- Manage returns inventory
- Inspect devices from the field with disposition knowledge
- Follow and maintain ISO procedures in receiving and cleaning of field returns
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety regulations
- Implement changes to improve process flows
- Support new associates by delivering thorough training on essential responsibilities, processes, and performance expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience in customer returns, diagnostics, repair, and inventory management in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to complete data entry accurately
- Knowledge of inventory, shipping, and receiving processes
- Strong administration skills
- Familiar with ISO9000 procedures and best practices
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple returns daily while maintaining accuracy
- Effective communication skills within and outside of the department
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer returns, diagnostics, repair, and inventory management in a manufacturing environment
- Great Plains or other MRP experience
- Team leader experience
