Talascend is currently seeking a Building Automation Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Cleveland, Ohio.

Overview

In this role, you will organize and manage resources to ensure timely completion of building automation installation projects, meeting scope, quality, and cost requirements. You will oversee project planning, execution, and client communications while managing various project teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure project completion within scope, timeline, and budget
  • Establish and maintain project critical path and adherence to project phases
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving unforeseen issues
  • Develop, monitor, and control project budgets
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and team members
  • Manage customer expectations and address scope and budget change requests
  • Ensure compliance with standards and processes specified by clients
  • Prioritize and escalate issues as necessary
  • Ensure system installation and performance meet customer and quality standards
  • Participate in pre-sales estimating and proposal development
  • Oversee preparation of wiring diagrams, scope definitions, sequences, and programming
  • Approve bills of material and review construction documents
  • Create and maintain project timelines and milestones, and communicate regularly with all project stakeholders
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and subcontractor site visits
  • Oversee on-site system checkout, commissioning, and training
  • Manage project closeout documents and software delivery
  • Measure and approve project financial milestones
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience with Honeywell offerings

Qualifications

  • Experience with construction projects
  • Building automation experience
  • HVAC industry knowledge
  • Proficiency in software such as SAP, Smartsheet, and Microsoft tools
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
