Talascend is currently seeking an Electrician for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Dayton, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, replace and repair all electrical hardware used on industrial equipment. Includes 120V and 24V sensors, switches, push buttons, pilot lights, relays, contactors, motors, transformers, cables, etc. 

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, replace, and repair power distribution systems for industrial equipment and facility. Includes 480V and 120V transformers, circuit breakers, fuses, etc. 

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, replace and repair control hardware for equipment interface, include Ethernet, DeviceNet, RS-485 and RS-232 serial communication. 

  • Troubleshoot and repair cabling and connectors for equipment and assembly pallets. 

  • Layout, fabricate and install electrical conduit and hardware for Facility and equipment. 

Qualifications:

  • Electrician with a minimum of 8,000 hours experience (5<0 years preferred) with troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment in a high speed manufacturing environment. 

  • Experience troubleshooting and repair of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC hardware. 

  • Familiar with OSHA safety regulations. Practiced Lockout/Tagout procedures/process on facility and industrial equipment. 

  • Familiar with Arc Flash safety regulations. 

  • Operate fork lift and aerial lifts (bucket/scissor). 

  • Available to work a variety of shifts. Overtime may be required on daily and weekend basis.
