Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.
Overview
The role involves loading and unloading materials within a warehouse or storage facility, utilizing various handling equipment to move materials efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials within a warehouse or storage facility
- Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks, trains, and within the storage facility
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in the field or related area
- Knowledge of commonly-used practices and procedures within a warehouse or storage environment
- Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines
- Dependable and able to work under immediate supervision
