Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Planner for a contract opportunity with our client in Tempe, Arizona.

Overview

This role involves leading supply chain activities, overseeing production planning cycles, and ensuring alignment with business objectives to maximize customer satisfaction and optimize resources. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in strategic planning meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly production planning cycle for assigned product cells at the Tempe site.
  • Ensure capacity plans and constrained master production schedules optimize labor and machine utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to demand, capacity constraints, and material availability.
  • Support planners in maintaining accurate planning parameters and material master data.
  • Participate in monthly SIOP meetings to approve network production plans, present risks, and discuss mitigation strategies with leadership.
  • Present updates during weekly cell SIOP meetings, including CTB status, forward-looking production schedules, and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive customer satisfaction while ensuring working capital aligns with business objectives.
  • Participate in monthly customer business team meetings focused on supply plan reconciliation.
  • Work weekly accelerations to improve delivery performance and meet inventory targets.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in supply planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management, or related functions.
  • 3+ years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment (defense or aerospace preferred).
  • 5+ years of SAP ERP planning experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to export regulations.
