Supply Chain Analyst
Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
Overview
The supply chain analyst supports product availability by managing inventory, procurement, and reporting functions, working closely with sales and marketing teams to meet demand forecasts and maximize revenue.
Responsibilities
- Purchase, sales, and inventory management
- Forecasting demand and supply needs
- Order management
- Attend meetings with internal and external counterparts
- Maximize revenue through KPI management
- Generate ad hoc reports and support supply related issues
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business, economics, math, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and Office Suite; SAP experience is helpful
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials
- Comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment
- Willingness to work overtime and on Monday holidays (not a full working day)
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
