Talascend is currently seeking a Sr ISC Project Management Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.

Overview

The role involves overseeing and directing operations for world-class integrated supply chain projects supporting the defense logistics agency customer base. The manager will assess project issues, develop resolutions, and monitor project progress to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring on-time product delivery to meet customer requirements
  • Serving as the escalation point for critical supplier and customer issues
  • Leading internal and customer meetings to present recovery plans, improvement projects, and long-term solutions
  • Ensuring key communication is delivered to customer business teams, program management, and customers
  • Facilitating effective communication and coordination between customers, teams, and functional groups
  • Developing and executing improvement projects to enhance performance metrics and survey results
  • Creating and executing customer ramp-up plans including staffing, training, tooling, and capital
  • Partnering with various functional groups to address systemic customer issues and achieve performance targets
  • Escalating issues during site tiered accountability meetings and analyzing VOC to drive site improvements
  • Visiting and calling suppliers for critical delivery requirements and key business objectives
  • Tracking and reporting on monthly/quarterly performance requirements
  • Supporting site visits with leadership and providing assistance as needed
  • Creating MOS reports to proactively address past due drivers and gaps
  • Coordinating communication with customers regarding parts delivery status and recovery plans
  • Preparing management and customer reports on part delivery status
  • Using databases including SAP, Excel, and Office to track and analyze data
  • Applying motivation and task completion skills to accomplish goals

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management
  • Proficiency in SAP and Excel
  • Exceptional communication skills with team members and customers
  • Highly self-motivated with a personable demeanor
  • U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or background in aerospace and/or aviation
  • Experience supporting a government or defense customer, such as DLA, or similarly complex environment
