Mobile Service Coordinator
Talascend is currently seeking a Mobile Service Coordinator for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Bellevue, Washington.
Overview
The role involves managing test and work communication lines and devices for internal departments, overseeing mobile device lifecycle management, and coordinating various operational tasks associated with mobile services and samples. The position requires project management skills to ensure efficient operations and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage SIM card operations, including data entry, inventory management, account activations, cancellations, and re-issuances.
- Input and analyze data through internal systems to optimize monthly costs.
- Assist visitors and users with SIM card access, VOC reports, and solutions.
- Share improvements and experiences in operation troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Coordinate with US-based mobile carriers on contract negotiations to align internal requirements.
- Communicate with HQ and local management to ensure overall operation status.
- Upload invoices into the internal system according to HQ format.
- Manage communication expenses and invoices from various activities.
- Manage lifecycle of mobile devices used for internal communications, including activation, troubleshooting, inventory audits, and secure device handling.
- Oversee mobile device and accessories inventory, conduct physical audits when necessary, and process service requests such as onboarding, upgrades, repairs, returns, and transfers.
- Retrieve and reassign mobile devices from former users ensuring secure handling.
- Perform monthly audits of service usage and carrier invoices to identify trends and reduce expenses.
- Respond to internal inquiries related to mobile communications and escalate complex issues.
- Coordinate all pre-production samples for testing and training, including tracking, inventory management, distribution, and audits.
- Communicate with HQ senders and local users to ensure the overall status of sample operations and shipping.
- Guide users for bi-annual sample inventory audits, including physical scanning if needed.
- Analyze sample delivery and operation reports, evaluate monthly mobile service results, and report findings to upper management.
- Work with retail operations, security, and financial teams regarding sample status and registration.
- Arrange requests for small offices and communicate with HQ and R&D teams in case of errors or issues.
- Follow up on device transactions to ensure security of company assets.
Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent work experience
- MUST be bilingual in Korean and English
- Over 1 year of experience in the telecom or customer service industry
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize in a complex environment
- Ability to communicate articulately both verbally and in writing
- Comprehensive use of Microsoft Office applications operating in Windows XP
