Sales Support Specialist-West Coast
Talascend is currently seeking a remote Sales Support Specialist located in the West coast.
Overview
As the Sales Support Specialist for our patient care solutions product line, you will drive daily field sales operations efficiency and accuracy by providing administrative and tactical support to the field sales teams, including order package submission, quote edits, change orders, concession workflow creation/closure, as well as analytical work, report processing, and management of department communication needs. This is a remote role requiring a dedicated home office space with high-speed internet.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the field sales team to resolve issues, assist with order submission, quote creation, change orders, concessions, and non-standard terms requests
- Coordinate workflow closures across all functional teams
- Drive commercial compliance by supporting legal escalation workflow activities; support audits and revenue risk mitigation during quarter close activities
- Drive continuous improvement on related processes to ensure standardization and simplification
- Enable team culture and improve customer and client satisfaction levels and responsiveness
Qualifications
- College degree or high school diploma / GED with 2+ years of experience in customer service or field support role
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines with accuracy
- Willingness to work extended hours at quarter close
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Knowledge and experience working with PCS products, services, and teams
- Client systems knowledge
- Experience supporting a sales team as a support person
- Experience with quotation and order entry processes and tools, such as Salesforce.com
- Basic understanding of inquiry to order (ITO) and order to remittance (OTR) processes
- Basic knowledge of technical and medical equipment and services
