Talascend is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for a permanent opportunity based in Picayune, MS. This role is primarily remote, but candidates must be within commuting distance as occasional onsite presence is required for training, meetings, and operational support.

You will join a small, collaborative team where communication, responsiveness, and teamwork are key to success. This role plays an important part in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, delivered on time, and supported through resolution of any issues that arise.

Responsibilities:
  • Process customer orders accurately using an ERP/system platform.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding orders, pricing, and delivery updates.
  • Coordinate with sales, production, warehousing, and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Confirm pricing and order details with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide delivery estimates based on production and shipping schedules.
  • Proactively communicate delays or order issues to customers and internal teams.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and billing or product issues.
  • Process returns, credits, and related documentation per company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate order and customer records within internal systems.
  • Generate routine reports for customers, leadership, and sales teams.
  • Support ISO-9001 documentation and process compliance requirements.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally.

Experience:
  • 1–2+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and standard business software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers, warehouse teams, sales, and leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong follow-through.
  • Basic math and data interpretation skills.
