Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst for a remote, contract opportunity with our client.

Overview

this role involves performing data analytics to support supply chain operations, including data analysis, process improvements, and report creation to aid management decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain operational reports and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs for monitoring supply chain performance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
  • Support core supply chain workflows across supplier management, procurement, and logistics.
  • Draft presentations and status updates for leadership.
  • Identify workflow gaps, inefficiencies, or recurring friction points and assist with implementing improved processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Support day-to-day coordination of meetings and status updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, or related field; or 5+ years of equivalent experience with proven skills.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting using relevant tools and techniques.
  • Experience with PowerBI, SQL, and Python required.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud, Primavera P6, and Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA desired.
  • Ability to identify patterns, trends, and insights from data to support decision-making.
  • Highly organized and process-minded with an aspiration for excellence.
  • Excellent communication and management/organization skills.
  • Ability to handle projects with many competing objectives and constraints, resolving conflicts between priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter and capable of leading cross-functional efforts with minimal direction.
  • The service provider will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect, and foster teamwork.
