Workshop Service Technician
Talascend is currently seeking a Workshop Service Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Minot, North Dakota.
Overview
This role supports the assembly and testing of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies of low complexity within a frac shop environment. The technician performs tasks based on detailed instructions and interacts regularly with supervisors and senior technicians.
Responsibilities
- Supports the assembly and tests of mechanical/hydraulic assemblies of low complexity
- Applies and develops basic skills in operation and usage of procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment
- Identifies different kinds of product and tooling properties
- Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports, and non-conformance reports as requested
- Cleans components according to specifications and verbal or written instructions
- Assists more experienced technicians in more advanced activities and ensures all equipment, tooling, and spare parts are ready for assembly and testing
- Learns procedures and practices safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma
- Knowledge and use of tools, equipment, and techniques
