Administrative Assistant
Talascend is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity with our client in Greenville, South Carolina.
Overview
The Administrative Assistant will support the Executive Administrator by providing critical administrative and operational assistance in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing day-to-day responsibilities, coordinating activities, and ensuring smooth executive operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Administrator.
- Assist with calendar coordination, meeting scheduling, travel logistics, visas, and expense reporting.
- Coordinate conference rooms, catering, visitor support, and meeting preparations.
- Support employee engagement activities, site events, leadership meetings, and special projects.
- Track action items, deadlines, and follow-up activities to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain organized records, documents, and administrative processes.
- Partner across departments to support smooth execution of business and site priorities.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Manage floor plans on employee assignments to cubicles.
- Utilize workflows to request purchase orders.
- Place work orders for maintenance concerns.
- Coordinate communications projected on monitors.
- Support evolving responsibilities based on business needs and direction from the Executive Administrator.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.

This position is structured as a part-time contract role with the potential for future full-time opportunities based on business needs and performance.
