Quality Engineer
Talascend is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Saginaw, Michigan.
Overview
Responsible for ensuring quality standards are met within casting and machining operations, supporting key projects and business group objectives. The role involves problem-solving, decision-making, and working closely with teams to maintain high-quality production processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure alignment to quality standards and procedures within casting and machining operations.
- Support process improvements and problem-solving initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to meet quality metrics and project goals.
- Participate in inspections and audits as needed.
- Assist in training and mentoring team members on quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering such as mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering or related field.
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies and decision-making processes.
