Talascend is currently seeking a Data & Integration Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Windsor, Connecticut.

Overview

We are looking for a motivated junior to mid-level data & integration analyst to support data integration, reporting, and troubleshooting efforts. This role involves working with APIs, SQL databases, and Power BI while collaborating closely with business and IT teams.

Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to support data needs.
  • Assist in integrating and troubleshooting APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Develop and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Work with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on implementation, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Communicate with internal users and external customers to support data and integration needs.
  • Perform basic debugging and assist in root cause analysis of data or system issues.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy across reporting and integrations.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in a data, reporting, or integration-related role.
  • Working knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, basic stored procedures).
  • Basic understanding of APIs and how they are used for system integration.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical teams.
