Entry Level Mechanical Assembler
Talascend is currently seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in Livonia, Michigan.
Overview
This position involves assembling automotive components within a contract manufacturing environment, providing an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual assembly of automotive systems and components
- Use manual tools and power equipment safely
- Follow written procedures and work instructions
- Problem solve and troubleshoot assembly processes
- Maintain organized and clean work area
- Attend to quality standards and attention to detail
- Work overtime and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- 1 year of recent hands-on assembly experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a US citizen
- Basic understanding of automotive systems
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures
- Good organizational and attention to detail skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good attendance and willingness to work overtime and weekends
