Warehouse Material Handler
Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for a contract opportunity with our client in Olathe, Kansas.
Overview
This role involves the movement, organization, and tracking of materials from inventory to the production floor, supporting production operations through accurate and timely material flow.
Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare materials based on production and work orders
- Stage materials for production in designated areas
- Perform inventory transactions accurately within computer systems
- Maintain organized storage areas and stock materials as needed
- Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Monitor and report inventory discrepancies
- Follow all safety procedures and standard operating guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or related environment
- Basic understanding of inventory control processes
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
