Talascend is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

Overview

The role involves analyzing financial data related to promotional programs, ensuring accurate reflection in accounting systems, and supporting invoice validation and payment processes. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to facilitate smooth operations and informed financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Manage indirect/dealer program conditions for accurate reflection of finalized terms and timely submission
  • Align dealer promotion proof of performance with sales finance
  • Draft and manage dealer promotion term sheets based on finalized terms
  • Reconcile and validate invoices received from dealers for promotional programs
  • Manage communication with dealers to ensure proof of performance compliance, timely validation, and invoice processing
  • Maintain invoice tracker, monitor issues, and manage priorities
  • Maintain status reports of promotional programs, including CORES status and payment status
  • Follow-up with internal and external partners to expedite processes and prevent delays

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related financial discipline
  • 2-4 years of financial and/or accounting experience (preferred, not required)
  • Number-driven with financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting experience
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Budget management experience
  • Managerial experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP (preferred)
  • Strong financial and general accounting knowledge
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Ability to identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in telecommunication or consumer electronics industry (preferred but not essential)
