Marketing Finance Manager
Talascend is currently seeking a Marketing Finance Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with our client onsite in Bellevue, Washington.
Overview
The Marketing Finance Manager reports to the senior manager of marketing and is responsible for driving the finance operations for the marketing team, managing budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the account team's marketing budget, including consolidating program details, managing budget plans, reconciling planned budgets with actuals, and leading month-end closing with variance reporting
- Lead program documentation and approval processes
- Review final deliverables against contract and lead payment validation processes
- Act as the voice of the brand and manage national priorities within internal and external teams
- Manage product marketing, promotion, and advertising programs and materials for specific channels and campaign periods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive media, partnership, and experiential programming planning and execution, representing channel partners' views
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a business-related field
- 6+ years of work experience, preferably in mobile or consumer packaged goods industry
- Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing principles aimed at driving audience relevance and sales
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments to achieve objectives within established timeframes
- Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication with internal and external personnel
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships at all levels within and outside the company
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects and assignments
- Review detailed product development, marketing documents, and media materials
- Work effectively under time-sensitive conditions and manage technical and business stress
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the mobile or consumer packaged goods industry
- Experience with digital marketing strategies and media planning
- Proficiency with Excel and financial analysis tools
