Data Governance Analyst
Talascend is currently seeking a Data Governance Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
Overview
This position involves developing and implementing data governance policies to maintain data quality, security, and compliance across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Create and enforce data governance policies and standards
- Monitor and assess data quality and compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ownership and stewardship roles
- Provide training and support on data governance practices
- Prepare reports on data governance metrics and improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with data governance tools and technologies
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
