Talascend is currently seeking a Software Developer for a contract opportunity with our client in Washington, District Of Columbia.

Overview

This role supports information systems design, development, and analysis across areas such as programming, software development, and systems integration. The position involves moderately complex assignments where decisions may impact schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of job principles and company policies to complete a wide range of tasks.
  • Use a complete understanding of general and technical job aspects to perform core duties.
  • Follow standard practices and procedures to analyze situations or data and obtain answers.
  • Interact daily with supervisors, peer groups, and customers to exchange or present factual information.
  • Serve in a lead role when needed and train others.
  • Handle unusual and seldom occurring job events with minimal assistance from others.
  • Make decisions where failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules.

Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of technical training or experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
