Project Manager
Talascend is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
Overview
This role involves managing the implementation of specific government or commercial contracts, overseeing all aspects of project execution, including planning, coordination, and client interface to ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of government or commercial contracts.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute project activities to meet client requirements.
- Integrate functions and activities necessary for project success.
- Define and implement technical baselines and quality requirements.
- Direct project teams, manage cost and schedule, and ensure contract compliance.
- Serve as the principal customer interface and interface with internal stakeholders.
- Track project progress and oversee closeout activities, including lessons learned.
- Lead multiple project managers and coordinate dispersed management interfaces.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and evaluation to project personnel.
- Maintain effective communication with senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful project or program management experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing projects and programs, with at least 2 years in fixed-price program management.
- Strong project management skills, including strategic and tactical planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer interface skills.
- Certifications such as PMP or DAWIA Level III are highly recommended.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
This is a standard daytime business operation with no non-standard shift requirements.
