Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Mechanical Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Billerica, Massachusetts.
Overview
This role involves providing comprehensive project management support for mechanical and infrastructure upgrades at a facility. The position requires overseeing large CapEx projects, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant project delivery, and collaborating with various teams to facilitate project execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management throughout all phases, including planning, design, construction, and closeout
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet safety, schedule, scope, and compliance requirements
- Review and manage project documentation such as SOPs, engineering drawings, specifications, and training materials
- Collaborate with manufacturing, facilities, quality, maintenance, engineering specialists, and document control teams
- Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and site readiness with facilities maintenance to support project execution
Qualifications
- 5+ years of facilities mechanical experience
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in mechanical or facilities projects
- Background in civil or mechanical engineering preferred
- Experience with mechanical systems and MEP projects
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience overseeing infrastructure upgrades and large capital projects
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment and infrastructure systems
- Good understanding of project documentation and process compliance
The shift for this position is from 8 am to 5 pm.
