Talascend is currently seeking an AI Tools Intern for a contract opportunity with our client in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Overview

This role involves learning and applying AI tools within a manufacturing environment, supporting the development and training of AI applications to enhance operations at the plant.

Responsibilities

  • Learn currently available AI tools within the organization
  • Develop practical uses for AI tools to drive value to the organization
  • Teach and train employees in AI tools and applications
  • Develop AI agents to perform tasks within the plant environment
  • Research and set up AI projects based on existing materials and training
  • Collaborate with team members on potential AI projects and develop solutions
  • Participate in a collaborative team environment with around 20-30 members

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
  • Focus on education or coursework related to AI, technology, or related fields
  • Self-starter with eager and active learning attitude
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with different levels of staff
  • Ability to thrive in an environment with minimal structure and ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Any coursework or project work related to AI

The position is on-site with a flexible schedule for college students, with a maximum of 32 hours per week. The role is expected to last approximately 52 weeks, starting ASAP. The candidate should be an active student enrolled in a four-year degree program.
