Manufacturing Engineer
Talascend is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Torrance, California.
Overview
This role involves assisting all levels of engineers with their tasks and assignments, conducting verifications of build on multiple product lines, and utilizing expertise in manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and audit skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist all levels of engineers with their tasks and assignments
- Conduct verifications of build on multiple product lines, including heat exchangers, coolers, fans, actuators, and vapor cycle machines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T
- Apply knowledge of PFMEA and process flow diagrams
- Perform audits and problem-solving activities
- Utilize SAP in manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with NADCAP special processes when applicable
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or related field
- Knowledge of PFMEA, process flow diagrams, and GD&T
- Good problem-solving skills
- Experience with SAP
- Familiarity with audit procedures
- Experience with NADCAP special processes preferred
