Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist
Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Torrance, California.
Overview
This role involves managing various aspects of supply chain sourcing, including negotiation, compliance, and supplier management, to support strategic initiatives and ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage commodity sourcing and negotiations
- Draft, sign, and upload NDA documents to systems
- Create and submit compliance packages such as ETRs, FRPJs, and supplier scorecards
- Perform SAP updates, including min order quantities and contract validation
- Develop and submit RFQ packages with drawings
- Make vendor master and material master changes
- Pull and validate part demand and historical receipts
- Upload documents to contract management tools
- Initiate and support Should Cost Requests
- Handle platform details in designated systems and issue resolutions
- Support, analyze, and review CID and BAA content
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of supply chain experience
- Proficiency in SAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in negotiations and supplier management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sourcing and procurement
- Project management or contract management experience
- Professional certifications in project, supply chain, procurement, or contract management
- Business mindset and passion for learning
- Financial and business acumen
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean tools
