Mobile Facilities Maintenance Technician
Talascend is currently seeking a Mobile Facilities Maintenance Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Everett, Washington.
Overview
This role involves operating, inspecting, and maintaining HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across multiple sites to ensure optimal performance and safety. The technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to emergencies, and support operational efficiency for residential-type facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and installed systems
- Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and building interior/exterior components
- Conduct inspections and report on conditions affecting client occupancy and operations
- Respond to emergency situations effectively
- Prepare reports on findings and recommend actions to management
- Familiarize with equipment and systems, including building automation and fire/life safety systems
- Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping practices
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
- Support after-hours activities as needed
- Attend periodic training seminars and perform other operational tasks as required
Qualifications
- Valid state driver’s license
- Universal CFC recovery certification
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering
- Experience with packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment repair and maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders
- On-call duties and overtime availability
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application
- Experience managing work orders utilizing CMMS technology
- Experience in service-related roles within commercial facilities
- 06A or 07 license
