Assembler I
Talascend is currently seeking an Assembler I for a contract opportunity with our client in Livonia, Michigan.
Overview
The Assembler I role involves assisting in basic manufacturing and cleaning work within a fast-paced production environment. The position provides an opportunity to learn from experienced staff and contribute to vehicle and product assembly processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist a senior assembler with assembling products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products.
- Support vehicle and material movement in and around the facility.
- Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions.
- Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow established safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school automotive shop class(es).
- Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance.
- Proficient with computer usage.
- Ability to learn and follow written instructions.
- Ability to perform fine hand manipulation.
- Knowledge of tools and their use.
- Ability to focus on details and quality of work.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.
