Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Tempe, Arizona.

Overview

This role involves overseeing complex supply chain projects, monitoring performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and continuous improvement within the aerospace supply chain organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate integrated supply chain projects within the aerospace business
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and develop corrective actions
  • Create and maintain Line of Balance (LOB), Clear To Build reports, and related planning tools
  • Utilize SAP to analyze supply chain data, track project milestones, and support operational decisions
  • Develop project tracking mechanisms, metrics, and dashboards to measure performance and progress
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, operations, planning, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and present project updates, performance reports, and recommendations to leadership
  • Support problem-solving activities and facilitate cross-functional alignment to resolve operational challenges

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, project management, or a related discipline
  • Strong SAP experience with the ability to analyze and manage supply chain data
  • Experience creating and managing Line of Balance (LOB) reports & Clear To Build reports
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams
  • Knowledge of integrated supply chain processes and operational metrics
  • Continuous improvement, lean, or Six Sigma experience
