Warehouse Associate
Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Aurora, Ohio.
2 Shifts Available:
1st shift - 7:00AM to 3:30PM
2nd shift - 3:30PM-12:00AM
Overview:
This role involves performing standard warehouse activities such as receiving, put-away, restocking, kit picking, and cycle counting to support manufacturing and assembly operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts
- Pick parts/products or pack for shipments ensuring accuracy of identification and quantity
- Fill kits and deliver to production as required
- Quantify and verify cycle count
- Work in decon area, unpacking, disinfecting, and dispositioning returned product
- Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or local equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak in local language
- Proficient in basic mathematics
- Ability to communicate well and work with others
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to consistently lift up to 40 pounds
