Talascend is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Plano, Texas.

Overview

The Business Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights, ensuring procedural adherence and supporting risk management activities. The role involves generating detailed reports, conducting risk assessments, escalation management, and working closely with stakeholders to align on goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret product safety data to identify trends, risks assessments, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and action plans. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Maintain case summaries and reporting on high-profile matters.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product safety goals and initiatives.
  • Gather, clean, and analyze product safety data from various sources to identify trends and risks.
  • Assign and oversee escalations from high-risk channels while reviewing past history for process adherence.
  • Conduct risk assessments and root cause analyses for product safety incidents to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Manage various ongoing and ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, product safety, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and business intelligence platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bilingual English and Korean highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Regulatory familiarity is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience is a plus.

Shift

This is a fully onsite role in Plano, Texas, with standard working hours.
