Talascend is currently seeking an Electronics Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Milford, Michigan.
Overview
The role involves working on electrical components, soldering, assisting engineers, and testing within a cutting-edge program focused on designing propulsion controllers. The position is onsite, with a flexible schedule during first shift hours, supporting a new and growing team developing innovative technology.
Responsibilities

li. Solder small electrical components such as 0805, 0402, etc.
Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred, High school diploma required
- 8-10 years of experience, with 3-5 years in electronics
- Ability to create (design and build) wire harnesses and test boxes
- Proficiency in soldering small electrical components
- Experience with bench lab equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, load boxes, and flash tools
- Hands-on and capable of working independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with schematic markup and visual inspection of printed circuit boards
This position requires physical ability to perform tasks such as soldering, mechanical assembly, and operating lab equipment, with a focus on supporting a busy engineering team working on innovative propulsion technology.
