Talascend is currently seeking a General Production Worker for a contract opportunity with our client in Mobile, Alabama.
Overview
This role involves delivering expected operating tasks and activities within a specified timeframe, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. The position focuses on maintaining production processes and adhering to safety and quality procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the production process to ensure work continues safely and efficiently by following the production schedule and documentation
- Adhere to quality procedures according to process instructions and records
- Operate machinery according to established procedures
- Evaluate own work using basic quality control methods
- Follow instructions and execute jobs based on procedures
- Carry out inspections and controls on operations to ensure traceability
- Participate in workshops in line with production needs
- Work in accordance with health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Secondary school / high school diploma with mechanical skills
- Entry level / Professional training up to 3 months
