Talascend is currently seeking a Lab Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Hazelwood, Missouri.
Overview
This role involves supporting laboratory operations through equipment cleaning, handling, and offering technical assistance in an onsite environment. It is suitable for individuals with basic laboratory experience and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and basic decontamination of laboratory instruments and equipment following established procedures.
- Assist external personnel and visitors during onsite equipment-related activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow standard operating procedures and promptly communicate any issues to the supervisor.
- Complete simple documentation related to equipment handling and cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0-2 years of relevant laboratory or technical experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic familiarity with laboratory environments or equipment handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device environments.
