Talascend is currently seeking a Technical Recruiter for a contract opportunity with our client in Warren, Michigan.
Overview
This role involves managing the full lifecycle recruiting process for global vehicle and manufacturing engineering teams, from intake calls to offer negotiations. The recruiter will work on a hybrid schedule, either in Warren, MI or Austin, TX, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract top talent in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hiring manager intake calls; post and manage requisitions.
- Review resumes, source talent, and complete candidate phone screens.
- Own candidate communication and coordinate the interview and selection process.
- Partner with interview coordinators and utilize available AI-enabled interview tools.
- Facilitate offer discussions and negotiations.
- Maintain strong communication with candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting partners.
Qualifications
- Approximately 3-5 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience.
- Experience managing requisitions independently and partnering with hiring managers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, changing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong organizational, communication, initiative, and judgment skills.
- Staffing agency and high-volume recruiting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday experience is strongly preferred.
- Automotive experience is a plus.
- LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing experience preferred.
- Candidates without a degree must have at least four additional years of relevant experience beyond the required 3–5 years.
