Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Plano, Texas.
Overview
The supply chain analyst will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments to meet production schedules. They will be responsible for reviewing schedules, compiling reports, and ensuring product availability to meet demand forecasts.
Responsibilities
- Proceed with PSI/SCP activities to ensure on-time right quantity allocation and delivery to customers
- Input weekly AP2 forecast to maximize product allocation by each account and site
- Track weekly customer orders and manage order processing to ensure on-time delivery
- Operate logistics order processes such as diversion and stock transfer
- Publish daily/weekly operating reports (PSI/SCP)
- Develop and maintain accurate short-term demand forecasts for targeted product categories using historical data, market trends, and cross-functional insights
- Manage weekly demand forecast at SKU/site level and provide customer order commitments and updates
- Collaborate with product management, sales, and operations to adjust forecasts based on new launches and promotions
- Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies to balance inventory investment with service level targets
- Coordinate with headquarters to ensure optimal production scheduling and supplier management
- Monitor sales order processes to meet monthly sales targets
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on demand, inventory, and overall supply chain performance
- Analyze and publish weekly ATS/aging reports to maximize sales and minimize inventory
- Manage weekly MPO/factory aging inventory levels
- Track key performance indicators to measure progress towards supply chain targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3-4 years of experience in supply chain, data analysis, and logistics operation
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets and advanced Excel functions
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP
- Bilingual in Korean and English required
- General knowledge of supply chain operations related to specific areas of work and limited awareness of overall supply chain functions
- Ability to identify standard problems within the supply chain cycle and recommend changes
- Ability to interpret and manage data from sales, purchase, and transfer orders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and handle routine problems with limited analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Alteryx
