Overview
The operating engineer is responsible for the hands-on operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems in an event facility. This role combines technical building engineering responsibilities with customer-facing support to ensure reliable system performance and well-maintained facility conditions.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and repair building systems.
- Execute daily maintenance activities and preventive maintenance programs.
- Perform operational tasks that support reliable system performance and facility conditions.
- Provide customer-facing support to client teams.
- Work under the guidance of engineering and facilities leadership.
- Contribute to facility operations and event success.
