Logistics Coordinator

Talascend is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator for an opportunity in Wittmann, Arizona.

Overview

The logistics coordinator is responsible for conducting and overseeing logistics procedures, processes, and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee logistics procedures and processes.
• Support logistics facility operations.
• Obtain Tier II driver certification.
• Obtain PMHV certification.
• Support testing milestones during off shifts and weekends as necessary.
• Work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work with little to no supervision.
• Solid organizational skills, including the ability to multitask.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of office productivity programs, including word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
• Able and willing to learn new software applications.
• Capable of obtaining Tier II driver certification.
• Capable of obtaining PMHV certification.
• Able and willing to work in various weather conditions.
• Able to walk between 2 and 10 miles per day.
• Capable of lifting more than 80 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of shipping and receiving experience.
• Training and certification in DOT and IATA requirements.

Shift

Must be able and willing to work off shifts and weekends as necessary to support testing milestones.
