Business Development Associate
Talascend is currently seeking a Business Development Associate for a contract opportunity with our client in Bellevue, Washington.
Overview
The Business Development & Strategy team is looking for a highly motivated and driven junior associate to join our dynamic team. The position will support business development efforts including progressing business strategy, engaging with external stakeholders, and developing domestic and international partnerships. The role involves supporting the development of current-state assessment, business cases, market analysis, and monitoring or supporting the implementation of business needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the business development & strategy team in the areas of supply chain development, market analysis, supplier development, and procurement.
- Support market analysis and demand planning for deployments, particularly for non-traditional applications.
- Analyze the current and future energy needs and potential solutions for industrial companies, especially those focusing on energy transition.
- Assess current product offerings and applicability for non- or low-power users.
- Support strategy, production, and follow-up of proposals and other opportunities.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in an engineering or market development role.
- Familiarity with engineering concepts, particularly nuclear engineering.
- High degree of trust and integrity, open communication, respectfulness, and a desire to foster teamwork.
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, and organized.
