Document Control Assistant
Talascend is currently seeking a Document Control Assistant for a contract opportunity with our client in Arvada, Colorado.
Overview
The role supports the document control group by managing documents for various projects and complexities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standard practices. The position involves assisting with multiple documentation tasks while collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Submit documents to customers
- Prepare inspection books
- Prepare final data books
- Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and alignment with standard practices
- Support multiple documentation tasks and projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders under general supervision
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in document life cycle management
- Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the discipline
- Ability to apply judgment and problem-solving skills to plan and accomplish tasks
- Dedicated to meet short deadlines and manage multiple requests simultaneously with a high degree of ownership for timely and accurate completion
- Must be adaptable, a self-starter, multi-tasker, extremely organized, and a great note taker with a desire to learn quickly
- Technical aptitude
- Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word) as well as Adobe or equivalent
